WASHINGTON, D.C., - January 31, 2024 - Founder and CEO Daiquiri Ryan Mercado, Esq. launches éxito & co., a one-stop firm for advocacy campaigns, coalition building, and community engagement. The launch follows months after Ryan Mercado, 30, sold the multi-million dollar business she co-founded and built over the last five years.

“Launching éxito & co. is truly a dream come true. Young Daiquiri dreamed of a company where being a woman was considered a strength, being yourself was considered a brand (even if it means adding a bit more pink and pizazz to the industry), and exclusively partnering with folks who create positive change in the world is considered a winning business strategy,” says Ryan Mercado. “Today is a celebration of éxito’s entire community; thank you for helping make my dream a reality.”

Ryan Mercado leads the Exitosa Executive Team, joined by Evelyn Nieto, Director of Operations & Senior Account Manager, and Maria Mercado, Director of Advocacy & Senior Account Manager. Expert consultants work alongside the Exitosa Exec team to support incredible local leaders, advocates, activists, organizers, and funders. The new icompany's extensive portfolio includes several digital equity and philanthropic projects, including the Digital Equity and Opportunity Initiative housed by Media Democracy Fund and disinformation narrative work with organizations like America’s Voice and the National Hispanic Media Coalition (NHMC).

"As a longtime partner and alumna of the National Hispanic Media Coalition, we are thrilled to see Daiquiri launch éxito & co.,” says Brenda Victoria Castillo, President & CEO of National Hispanic Media Coalition. “Over the years Daiquiri and her team have supported NHMC in both advocacy and allyship for the Latine community. We are proud to be a trusted partner and inaugural client of éxito. With them, we know we’re in capable hands.”

“Congratulations to the entire éxito & co. team on their launch today. We are excited to see another latinx firm take their place in the advocacy field and look forward to Daiquiri’s leadership,” says Vanessa Cárdenas, Executive Director, America’s Voice. “America’s Voice is happy to partner with éxito & co. in our advocacy and disinformation narrative work and can't wait to stir more "good trouble" together.”

“Daiquiri, Maria, and Evelyn are trusted partners to the Media Democracy Fund on multiple digital equity and future tech projects. Their strategic leadership and support of funder and grantee collaboration in our Digital Equity & Opportunity Initiative has consistently delivered results. We are thrilled to continue working with éxito & co. in this new capacity and know we will continue to see great things from this incredible team. Congratulations, éxito!” — Amber French, Executive Director, Media Democracy Fund
